space helmet pressure; spacecraft in the zombie apocalypse; learning a little girl's dance

Dream 1

I was in outer space. I may have started out in a space capsule or a space station. I was probably with a woman astronaut.

We were then out in space. We had to get from one structure to another structure. The second structure may have been a space capsule that would transport us to the space station that was our base.

We had to put on our space helmets before we went into the second structure. I put my helmet on. As the helmet clicked into place, some oxygen started flowing through the helmet area, and possibly through the rest of my suit.

But then the air pressure of the oxygen got really high. I felt like my head was getting squeezed or smashed. The astronaut floated directly facing me. She got worried. She asked me if my suit was malfunctioning. She thought it might be because I had put my helmet on incorrectly. She wanted to help me take my helmet off as soon as possible so I wouldn't get injured. But I said I thought I was fine. I decided we would just float into the structure and I'd see if things got worse from there.

We floated up through a narrow, tube-like area. At the end of this passage was a shallow, dish-like dome. I knew that beyond this space was the cabin of the structure. Once we were in there we would fly to the larger structure.

We were now in the larger structure, the space station that was like our home base. I was in one room that was like some sort of control room. The floors were shiny black. The walls were covered in machinery and monitors that displayed data, etc.

A man stood in the room. He was some sort of high-ranking person in the space station. He wore a crisp, square-bodied uniform. His chest bore a pretty big grid of decorations. He may have been holding his cap or helmet in his arm, kind of close to his body. And he stood really straight.

The man probably asked me about my condition. There may still have been a worry about whether I'd been badly injured by the helmet incident. I said I was okay. But even I couldn't be sure.

Dream 2

I was probably watching some movie about some kids who discovered a spacecraft in the woods. The spacecraft was sort of lime-shaped, but with shell-like ends. It was hard and dark green, like an avocado. But it was ornamented all around with silver, pipe-like fixtures. The craft itself may have opened like a clam shell. Or it may have had an entrance via a ramp leading up into the bottom of the craft.

Two boys had discovered this spacecraft. They then decided to fly it. But they stayed on earth. Some time had passed. Possibly one of the boys had gotten some sort of illness and had gone into a coma for a while. When the boy awoke, he probably found out that a zombie apocalypse had taken place.

The boy may have found the other boy. The two boys then took their spacecraft on journeys all around the earth, where they'd always have to avoid or fight zombies.

Then, almost as if by accident, one of the boys, or possibly both of the boys, flew in the spacecraft all the way off the earth. The boy went to some distant place in space, where he kind of settled down. After that the story became a lot more calm and a lot less interesting.

I seemed to have seen a good amount of the calm part of the boy's story. I was sort of disappointed by it. It was now like I was reviewing this whole story, almost as if it were starting over again. I thought to myself how much I liked all the zombie stuff and how I'd have liked to see the zombie stuff continue.

I'm not really sure whether I was still dreaming at this point. I seemed to imagine a few different scenarios of the story that I would have liked better. But I'm not really sure whether I ever saw any of the scenarios play out. I kept on seeing the spacecraft at the beginning of the story, as if the story were always stuck at the beginning.

All throughout the dream, my view was obscured, as if it were blocked by columns that were totally in the shade or darkness, though sometimes it was also like the columns were two huge, shaggy legs of orange fur or a huge column of a tree the bark of which was coated with some fur-like vegetation.

Dream 3

I may possibly have been out on a beach or a field. The beach or the field was wet, so the sand or soil was pretty muddy. It was probably a cloudy day.

I was probably out with a few people: some adults and a little girl. The little girl may have been a cheerleader or a dancer, dressed in some cute costume.

The little girl was trying to teach me a cheer or a dance. I may have been doing a bad job of learning the dance, or I may have been too shy really to have put my whole effort into the dance. So I looked kind of terrible.

The little girl didn't seem disappointed in me. She kept trying to teach me the dance. But the adults were sort of annoyed by or angry with me. I felt like the adults thought it was stupid that I wasn't dancing well. Didn't everybody know how to dance well? I also felt like they thought I was purposely acting like an idiot in front of the girl, to kind of subtly demonstrate to the girl that I didn't care about what she was doing. But I also felt like they thought I was attracted to the little girl and that I was trying to hit on her by practicing a dance with her. So I felt like they were disgusted and angry with me.

reverse stage rocket; meth lighter

Good morning, everybody.

Dream #1

I was watching a video of a new space capsule. It had already launched into space, and it was traveling above the earth, but it was apparently joining up with two lower segments, which were like the rockets that would have propelled it into space. But I knew that the capsule needed to join up with these rockets. Perhaps it was preparing for a flight farther out into space.

I now stood on earth, on some wide tarmac area between two large, warehouse-like buildings. I heard a narrator say that I should watch how well the new space rocket prepared for its flight. The narrator may have said that the rocket was already ready for its flight.

Suddenly a silvery spaceship, kind of like a 1950s sci-fi conception of a spaceship, blasted downward, skimmed along the ground, then blasted back upward. As the ship blasted upward, two lower, rocket-like devices flew upward to join onto the bottom of the spaceship. I could see, as the spaceship quickly reached dizzying heights, how the rockets had already linked up with the spaceship.

Dream #2

I was in a hospital waiting room. I had probably just seen a psychiatrist, but I had been sitting around in the waiting room, anyway. I now stood up to leave.

As I was passing through the doorway, a scraggly, young man handed me a red lighter. I really didn't want to take it, but I felt like I probably should, since the young man had offered it to me. The young man walked through the waiting room and went to see his psychiatrist.

I walked back into the waiting room. I breathed in through the top of the lighter. I felt smoke fill my lungs. I suddenly knew that the lighter was full of crystal meth, and that I had just inhaled some of it.

At first, I felt angry with myself, that I had let the scraggly, young man pressure me into taking the lighter and smoking the meth. But now I was just afraid. I didn't want the meth to take effect on me. I didn't know what it would do to me. I slowly walked back out of the waiting room, monitoring everything about myself, so I could be prepared for whatever bad effects the meth would have on me.

space flight delays; girl's tuxedo; dropped phone on face

Good morning, everybody.

Dream #1

I was flying around in some craft with probably three other people. I think the craft was a spacecraft, possibly even a space capsule. We may already have gone up into space. We were now flying the craft around, maybe a few thousand meters above desert-mountain landscapes, like the craft was a small plane. Then we landed.

On the ground, probably standing somewhere near the tarmac, I was disappointed in myself. I may have felt like my role in the mission had been almost nothing. I may have felt like people had given me nothing to do. Or I may have felt like I had been too lazy to do anything. I may also have felt like my fear at some point during the mission had ruined some kind of mood for the people around me. Maybe my fear had been during the landing. Or maybe my fear had caused an early landing.

I watched an SR-71 Blackbird come out of the sky. I knew the Blackbird was practicing landings. The plane looked a bit flatter and more brittle than a usual Blackbird, and it had a bit of a milky-bluish tint to its black body. The landing was executed, I knew, almost perfectly. I really admired it as I watched it land and then coast down the runway. But I felt anxiety as I watched it coast away, like I couldn't be actually sure it would come to a complete stop before crashing into something.

I was now in a basement of some building which seems to me now like a hospital. I was in a room full of old scientific equipment: box-shaped monitoring equipment with knobs on the front and cords coming out and so forth, all stacked up on various shelves along the walls. There may also have been some bigger pieces of equipment, almost like dentist chairs or x-ray machines, in the room.

I walked into the hallway. The hallway was kind of cluttered, too. The rest of my crew was somewhere around here. We were all getting ready for a space flight, maybe a flight on a space shuttle. But something about the space flight had been delayed. Somewhere I could see the back end of a rocket booster. It looked really small, and it appeared to be stuffed full of tissue paper.

Some man came up to me. He was tall and strong, and he was carrying an iPad around with him. He was apparently my supervisor. He was trying to find some way to keep me from going on this mission. I'm not sure why. He almost seemed like an Adult Baby Daddy to me. I think he just wanted to keep me from going on the mission because he wanted to keep me from doing anything adult-like.

But there were, I now knew, two flights taking place. The one that had been delayed was the one my supervisor was trying to keep me out of. But there was another one that would take place after that. I had already somehow gotten in contact with my crew members. We had all worked together to set things up so that I could look like I wasn't going on any flights at all when the first flight went off. But I could then sneak into the second flight.

Dream #2

I was in a department store, probably with my mom and a few other people. We were looking around in the girls' clothing section. The floors and walls of the store were white, and the store was filled with a white, fluorescent light.

I stood in front of one rack with my mom. My mom stood to my right. My mom told me I could get any outfit of clothes that I wanted. I looked through the girls' clothes, wanting to get a really pretty outfit. I found an outfit I thought I'd like. I tried it on right then and there.

I could see what it was once I put it on. It was like black dress pants, a black jacket, and some kind of layered, cream-white shirt. The shirt seemed to be of a satiny fabric on the outer layers. But on the inner layers it was a soft fabric, maybe like cashmere.

I wanted to see how I looked. But I didn't want to walk too far around in the store and have other people see me. I saw a mirror attached to a column a couple racks away from where I stood. The column was wide, and the mirror was maybe 250cm tall and 150cm wide.

I looked at myself in the mirror. I don't think I saw my face. My suit looked like a tuxedo. Nothing looked feminine about it except the way that the shirt created this kind of layered v-like pattern along my chest. But my "shoes" were also feminine. They actually were just these big, cream-white, satiny bows attached to the tops of my feet.

I could tell that under this tuxedo, I was actually wearing a dress that looked quite feminine. But I was afraid enough to be around people in public wearing this tuxedo-like outfit. I'd be even more afraid to wear the dress in front of everybody.

As I walked back to the rack, I had an image in my head of a twelve-year-old girl. She had dark olive-colored skin, big, round, brown eyes, and frizzy, blonde and black hair. She wore a tight, blue and green tie-dyed tank top and tight blue jeans. This young girl was really sexy to me. I was hoping she'd come into my life and hit on me.

I was back at the rack, again with my mom standing at my right. I was now reluctant even to have my mother look at me. I didn't want her to know that I liked wearing women's or girls' clothing. And I didn't want her to buy any women's or girls' clothing for me. I felt like if she acted on the idea that I was a transvestite, our relationship would get too embarrassing. The part of me I really didn't want my mom to see were my shoes.

Off to my left I saw a Hispanic family walk up to the girls' clothing section. It looked like a dad, a mom, and two younger children. But I wondered if the twelve-year-old girl I'd fantasized about just a moment ago would be part of this family. I thought that if she was I shouldn't do anything anyway. I wouldn't want to get in trouble with the girl's family. I also didn't want the family to see me as I was, dressed up in girls' clothing. Again, I especially didn't want them to see me in these shoes.

Dream #3

I was in a big vehicle like an SUV, riding through some area like a complex full of tall, wide, sheet-metal-walled warehouses. It was daytime. I was with a whole group of people. I'm not sure exactly where I was sitting. Sometimes I felt like I was in the front seat. Other times I felt like I was in the backseat. I think I always felt like I was on the passenger side.

One of the people I was with was this young guy. He was maybe twenty-five years old. He was tallish, slim, with olive-colored skin and short, curly, black hair. He wore big, black sunglasses and a smallish, pale-blue (?) t-shirt.

It was understood that the guy had a cut or a number of cuts on his face (although these cuts may not have been visible). I'd asked the guy how this had happened. But the guy was too embarrassed to answer. He was trying to make me feel like I shouldn't ask anymore questions. But I needed to know what was going on. The guy had a tendency to overwork himself and injure himself. I wanted to make sure he wasn't doing it again.

So I pushed the guy to answer me. Finally he said, "I made a deal with myself last night that I wouldn't answer my cell phone after midnight. That way I could get some sleep. But I was in bed and I checked my phone at 11:56. There was something on it, so I thought I should take care of it. But I must have fallen asleep as I was doing that. When I fell asleep, I dropped the phone right on my face."

I said, "Oh!.... Oh, no...," like a caring mother would when she wanted to sympathize with her child after he got hurt, yet she also couldn't help seeing a bit of humor in the situation.

I could see the phone in my mind's eye. It was a huge and clunky, as tall as a landline phone's receiver. It had a huge, black antenna coming out of its top. It had a shiny, black face and a dull, grey casing. I imagined the young man dropping the phone on the bridge of his nose, causing a kind of deep gash.

whale bones; trampoline space launch; old friend on stairwell

Good morning, everybody.

Dream #1

I was out in some dark place. It felt like I was walking through city streets in the dark, just, perhaps, by the light of the moon. But it also felt like I was walking through a dark living room.

There was the feeling of the presence, or the threatened presence, of some man. He was a bad man, maybe some kind of criminal. I had to protect either myself or some people I knew against the man.

I was now looking out at some dark grey sky. I heard people in my head, one of them an adult woman, telling me how either I or someone else had managed to stop something bad from happening. I thought to myself that it was a good thing I'd listened to someone who'd told me something. If I hadn't listened, the bad incident wouldn't have been averted.

I now saw up in the sky a huge structure. It had the shape of a whale. But from tip to tip it looked like the ribs of a whale. At first the whale had been full of a substance like dim, golden light. But the dim, golden light was taken over by some gloppy, grey-black substance. I knew that that was good. The golden light was bad, and the black substance was good.

Dream #2

I was walking down a staircase. The wall to my left was made of a very nice, heavy wood. The wall to my right was either there or was made of some transparent material, like plexiglass or even some sort of netting.

Somehow I knew that down below, where I was heading by the staircase, there was some sort of trampoline exhibition going on. A bunch of people had won a few different trampoline jumping or dancing contests. Now they were here, gathered all together, to display their talents.

Most of the winners had been like 1950s style sexy girls. The girls had mostly won contests for how sexy they could do trampoline jumping/dancing. In my mind's eye I saw one of these girls: an older, heavy-looking blonde woman who wore a leotard of blue and silver sequins and some hat of the same material.

The woman did some dance where she's wiggle her legs really fast while she was in the air, like a shrimp swimming. I didn't find it sexy at all. The woman may have had a poodle with her.

I could hear, as if in my head, the event organizers, two older men, one of whom was my friend, talking about how I had won a trampoline contest. I thought that I'd also have to compete. I didn't want to do some silly, supposedly sexy dance. I also didn't know if I'd be able to show any real skill on the trampoline.

But I started some kind of an act in my head, rehearsing the moves I'd make. I knew I'd be able to carry everything out and make it look okay, as long as I kept everything simple. I hoped that keeping it simple wouldn't disappoint my audience.

But the event organizer who was my friend said that I wasn't going on after all. My friend said something like I was too tired to do the contest.

I imagined lifting upward on the trampoline. I looked upward. I could see up the side of some building in the daytime. I was then high up in the air. I may have been a couple thousand feet up in the air. I was in a space capsule, like the SpaceX Dragon. I may have been in there with another person.

Somehow we could see down below us, as if a huge portion of the capsule were just a window. We were flying through the air, as if the capsule were under its own jet control.

It was now suddenly like th capsule had its top, a big, wide circle, wide open. I sat leaning along the rim, my head hanging out of the capsule. We were flying kind of sideways.

But I think the other guy may have tried to impress me by making the capsule go upside down. I was slightly disoriented. My entire field of view was taken up by the green landscape below. I also feared that I would soon have a hard time keeping myself secured against the wall of the craft, and that I would fall out.

We were now heading for a pond. This would be where we made our final descent. As we approached the pond, we flipped back upwards. When the capsule splashed into the pond, I feared that we would be submerged, and that the capsule would get filled with water and sink down to into the pond. But not a drop of water reached up over the rim of the capsule. We began floating, bobbing up and down with no problem.

I was now in a basement, watching a replay of this scene. The basement was like a bedroom. But instead of beds, the bedroom just had tons of blankets all over the place.

There was a young man, maybe 17 or 18 years old, in the bedroom with me. I had been laying on my stomach while watching the TV replay. I rolled over and turned back to the boy behind me. He was sitting cross-legged on the floor, watching another TV.

I asked the young man how the inside of the capsule didn't get any water in it on the splashdown. The young man and I were still in the bedroom. But instead of being on blankets, we now seemed to be coming out of some object like a small, collapsed tent. The fabric of this tent-like thing was silver. And the bottom of the thing, the only thing with a hardness to it, was lens-shaped. This thing had been our space capsule.

The young man may have told me the capsule hadn't gotten any water in it because I'd done a good job of getting the capsule down. He definitely also told me that the capsules were built that way. He said they were ultra buoyant, so that they'd always float high enough for the capsules never to get any water in them. The boy then may have walked up a stairwell out of the basement. I may have followed.

It was now night. I was looking up the side of a building like a castle. I could hear people in my head talking about a number of space launches that had recently occurred. Many were of vehicles like the SpaceX vehicle. But others were of different companies' vehicles.

I was supposed to have been a part of the launches. But one of the guys organizing the launches, a man who was an astronaut and a friend of mine, had taken me out of the launches.

I could see the man in my mind's eye. He looked a little bit like Neil Armstrong. The man had told everybody I couldn't do a launch because I'd been scheduled for some kind of flight which would occur the next day. The man would be coming on this flight with me.

I was near some place like a lake. I started walking away from the tall building. I realized the man was right. I couldn't waste my energy on a launch if I was going to be doing a flight. In fact, I needed to conserve my energy much better in order to do this upcoming flight. And I shouldn't talk to anybody about the flight, either.

The sky was just becoming silvery blue in preparation for sunrise. I walked up some stone path on a wide slope. The stone path led to a house or villa. The villa was fenced all around with a stone wall.

I looked over my shoulder and to my right, down the slope. A small group of people were walking up toward the path up the slope. There were a couple horses with the people.

One of the horses, a beautiful, red-brown horse, spotted me. The people couldn't control the horse. It ran up the slope toward me. I didn't know whether the horse was kind or violent. I just turned around and kept walking up the slope, resigning myself to having the horse do whatever it was going to do to me.

The horse came up along my left side, slowly poking its head into my field of view. It kept on sticking out its tongue. It had a huge, awkward looking head and a big, fat tongue.

I took a chance and began petting the horse's head. I said, "Hi there, horsey," in a high-pitched, cooing voice like I might use when I talk to babies.

The people now came up from behind me. They drew the animal I'd been petting up beside me, too. The animal had a low, fat body. It kind of disoriented me at first. Then I realized that the animal was a cow.

We all headed into the villa through a thick, wooden gate in the stone wall fence. I was embarrassed by my mistaken perception. I told everybody, "I'm so sorry. I can't believe I called your cow a horse."

Dream #3

I was walking down a staircase in a bookstore. I was heading down into the basement. There were a lot of people on the stairwell. But almost everybody seemed to be heading up while I was heading down.

One of the people I saw heading up the staircase was one of my old best friends. I hadn't seen her in years. She had really short hair, almost in a boyish cut.

I was surprised when I first saw her. But I didn't say anything to her. A couple steps farther down I either said or thought of saying, "Hey!" to get my friend's attention.

At the bottom of the steps I stopped altogether. I half-turned, so that my left side was facing up the stairs. A lot of people were still heading upstairs. I thought for a moment of calling up the stairs to get my friend's attention.
